finally joined connectX

well i finally joined Diary of a Wizard connectX, i dont know why i didn't do it earlier, but hey they past is the past and i am here now so yea. anyways my name is crusader matt ;) you know how i love crusading and all, either verbally or into an dungeon. and on a side note i made a tower thing out of bout 30 electric meter boxes:

mount ideas 2: gems, jewels, stones and ores/ingots

Ok so a new idea for mounts is the equipment for mounts would have slots for a vairety of things. the mane would have 1-2 slots, the saddle 2-3, the helm 0-1 and the hoove shoes wouldn't have any and the objects that could be put in these would be classified 4 different kinds: gems, jewels, stones and ingots. gems would serve the purpose of increasing any of your various pools, meaning your health pool, your mana pool or occasionally your energy pool. jewels would target strength and accuracy stats and occasionally resistance stats. these two kinds would generally be the most expensive kind of slot item. then stones would increase a random 2 stats but would be cheaper. and finally ores would be similar to stones but more expensive and would have the ability to purify into a ingot which would cost a  fee but be far better.

sorry i don't have time to make an illustration of the slot items but i will try and get one out by monday!

In other news my charger for my computer isn't working so i am forced to write this on my dad's tiny computer.

Mounts: an idea enyclopedia

So as of now mounts are simply a way to travel distances quicker they all have the same standard boost of speed of 40% [( in exception to one day rentals which go half that speed), there are also mounts owned by KI staff which go 100% speed but nobody can get those... except KI].  so here is what i propose to the world, a mount purchasee gets a mount at baby that would give a 20% movement speed increase, but could be trained up to 65%. training would be similar to pet training with stats and such but there would also be a few key differences, 1. mounts have equipment slots for their head, mane, saddle and hooves. they would have a skill tree that lead to different aspects, such as capability to perform underwater, tighter turns and higher endurance. the reason for all this is because i figured since pets can come with you into battle why not mounts? the mounts would increase your health, stats and have rare armor to collect for them. i made a sample of what a mount could be like if this were to happen:
